Buy Noma Japan’s Used Plates

Yep. You read that right. Noma Japan, (you know, the place that puts ants on its shrimp?) the pop-up of famed restauranteur René Redzepi, is selling it’s tableware for….quite a price.

Used plates? $320

Forks? That will be $200, please.

Chopsticks? A steal at $65.

And if you need shelving–well hey, why not buy this sleek piece for a mere $2890.

Why so much, you ask?

The collection of items were both custom made and curated by local Japanese artists.

Oh–and the items will ship following the restaurant shut down this past weekend–Feb 14.

For more check out the site over at the Mandarin Oriental.
