For eons women have worn fashionable clothes that put their sexual organs on display-bare bottoms, naked nipples and all—just last week, however, the tables finally turned at Paris Fashion Week.

One brave American fashion designer and his male models showed off a bit of male genitalia at the gala last week, and the response has been–well–mixed.

Personally, while I’m not sure I’d encourage my male friends to wear this — I applaud Rick Owens for taking a unique approach to human sexuality. Bravo for testing our Puritanical wiles–and for putting the often ignored male body out there for everyone to enjoy.
