Cook on Top of Your Aquarium

The combination of fire and water sounds like an elemental opposition, but Dutch designer Robert Kolenik has come up with a clever and breathtaking way to combine the two elements into one.

Meet the Ocean Kitchen–a large kitchen island that houses a custom built aquarium beneath a Corian slab. Don’t worry, the slab lifts up with a touch of a button so that your caretakers can access the aquarium underneath and tend to its inhabitants.

No word on the price of this custom-made masterpiece–but I’d imagine that the folks on Animal Planet’s: Tanked are paying close attention.
